Lesson 6
Ga, Gi, Gu, Ge, Go, Za, Zi, Zu, Ze, Zo, Da, Ji, Zu, De, Do
Lesson 6 introduces you to the first group of Secondary Hiragana characters, G + vowels, Z + vowels and D + vowels. These are the same characters as K + vowels, S + vowels and T + vowels, though they also contain a diacritical mark, designated by the double quote mark("). The diacritical mark is present to denote a variation of sound from the original. Take some time to try and remember the characters and their shape. Draw them a few times to help reenforce their shapes in your mind. At the moment, stroke order isn't important.
